With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Rose Iacuone of Palm Harbor, Florida, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Rita Rose departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rita Rose may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rita Rose leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Aldo Iacuone; and her parents, Anthony, Sr. Vecchio and Adeline Del Vecchio (Minieri). She is survived by: her children, Susan Huetteman (Thaddeus), Steven (Rebecca) and Robert; her brother Anthony Del Vecchio, Jr. (Adele); and her sisters-in-law, Dora Settineri and Donna Lou Kreitzer (Norman). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens (1750 Curlew Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34683). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church (2757 Alderman Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34684).
