It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Norman Caron of Palm Harbor, Florida, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Anello; his children, Lucas (Kendra) of Needham, MA, Jesse and Nicholas of Palm Harbor, FL; his granddaughter Emilia Marie Caron; his siblings, Paul Caron (Cindy) of Fall River, MA, Gerard Caron (Sheila Cusack) of Needham, MA and Francis Caron (James Dudek) of Richmond, CA.; his siblings-in-law, Karen Galileos, Greece and Christina Newman (Grant) of Rockport, MA.; and his nieces and nephews, Melanie, Stacy Caron, Patrick, Michael Caron, Olivia Newman, Trevor, Charlotte Duke, Popi, Yiorgo and Carol Galileos.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to MIT in memory of Richard Caron for the Memorial Endowed Undergraduate Scholarship Fund, account# 3498220.
