He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Gehris and Beth Williams Gehris; his son Jeremy Scott Gehris; and his brother David V. R. Gehris. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Jones (Betty); his son Jonathan D Gehris; his daughter-in-law Tina Gehris; his grandchildren, Ashley Puniello (Nick), Peter J Gehris (Reagan), Nicholas Gehris and Noah Gehris; his daughter-in-law Sharon Gehris of South Windsor; his grandchildren, Crystal Gehris and Trent Gehris; his sister-in-law Jane Gehris of Palm Harbor, FL; his brother Jonathan A Gehris; and his sister-in-law Kathy of Medford, N. J.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
