He was predeceased by: his parents, Monita "Pat" Merrill and William O. Merrill; and his brother-in-law Glenn Wade. He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Merrill (Carol), Rose Wade, Dan Merrill (Barbara), Mother and Dave Van Wormer (Linda); and his nieces and nephews, Scott Bardusk, Aaron, Andrew Wade, Kelly and Colleen Merrill.
