It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kay (Burke) Oney (Palm Harbor, Florida), born in Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Mary Kay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Kay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her son Hayden Oney; her boyfriend Eugene Mapp; and her siblings, Sue Ann Dorsey, Kathy Gonya, Lonnie Burke, Rick and Marcie Burke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and the countless adopted children and cherished members of her extended family.
