She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren Duke and Laura Duke (Seeley); her brother George E. Duke; and her husband Walter R. Kumpu. She is survived by: her sons, Walter R. Kumpu, Jr. (Chuck) and David B. Kumpu; her daughter-in-law Janet L. Kumpu; her grandchildren, Aili, Heidi Kumpu and Bruce Pailey; and her nephews, David and Jeffrey Duke. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
Marjorie was known for her annual Townsend Daffodil Day Event, raising money for the American Cancer Society.
