With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurence Manke of Palm Harbor, Florida, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Llyod Manke and Amelia Manke; his wife Helen (Soukup); and his siblings, Dorothy Manke, Carol Vogel, Lloyd Manke, George Manke and Frank Manke.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Harriel (Arthur) of Oldsmar, FL, Brenda Christolin (JD) of Vernon, NJ and Gloria Pergl of Michigan; his grandchildren, Nathan, Jayden Harriel, Jeffrey Pergl, Chivon, Gia Christolin and Amber Stanton; and his siblings, Phyllis Owen of Michigan and Terry Manke of Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sioux Falls Cares where Pete spent many years as a volunteer, even flying home from Florida to help.
