She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew McDermott and Helen McDermott; her husband Donald O'Connor; her son Darryl; and her siblings, Brian, Terrance McDermott and Eileen Scholl.
She is survived by: her children, Keith O'Connor (Mary) of Oldsmar, Florida and Kerri Uchytil (Craig) of Louisville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Raiza Soto, Kayla Uchytil, Ryan O'Connor, Shaye Uchytil, Connor Uchytil and Natalie O'Connor; her great grandchildren, Yemil, Ailani and Nikolai Soto; her siblings, Maryellen Browning, Ginna Hunter and Dennis McDermott; and her boyfriend Robert Pomarico. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Kathleen's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Suncoast Hospice Foundation.
