He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Elder McDougal, Sr. and Doris B. Dick. He is survived by: his significant other Patra Korones Bates; his sisters, Victoria McDougal and Kathy McDougal Gawthrop (Neil); and his partner's daughters, Rene Ohman (Jason) and Georgeann Hull (Anthony). He is also survived by many loving family members, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Empath Hospice.
