She was predeceased by : her parents, Dewey Jennings and Bessie Loretta Walters (Ritter); her husband Jack; her son Brian Keith Scott; her granddaughter Emily Katharine Scott; and her brothers, Charles Edward Walters and Paul Ronald Walters.

She is survived by : her children, Sue Ellen Scott (Jani Barron) of Safety Harbor, Florida and Gregory Jackson Scott (Judith Contreni) of Elliott City, Maryland; her grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Scott and Evan Gregory Scott; and her siblings, Richard Leon Walters, Mattie Sue Dickey and Teresa Anne Sample.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home (2898 N Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tabernacle Christian Church (198 N Water St, Franklin, IN 46131).
