She was predeceased by: her parents, George (Josephine Hoosock) and Saint of Anthony's Schools; her husband Walter D. Castle; her son Kenneth J. Castle of Wind Gap, PA; her grandson John M. Castle of North Syracuse; and her siblings, Jenny Allen (Ed), Dorothy Apps (Bill), Shirley Zaccari (Jim), William, George (Judy) and John.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Sullivan (John) of North Syracuse; her daughter-in-law Debra Castle of Wind Gap, PA.; her sons, Timothy (Mary) of White Plains, MD., Thomas (Marcy) of Lewiston, NY and James (Linda) of North Syracuse; her sister Marion Warner (Richard); and her sister-in-law Judy Hoosock. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
One of Betty's final wishes was that, in lieu of flowers or donations, simply do a good deed and be kind to someone in her memory.
