He was predeceased by: his daughter Debra Marie Brasher; the mother of his children Angelyn Latham Brasher; his brothers, Gilbert Brasher, Charles Brasher and William Brasher; and his wife Margean Murphree Brasher.
He is survived by: his children, Edward C. Brasher Jr. (Natalie) of Palm Harbor, FL, Michael A. and Diana M. Griffin (Mark) of Theodore, AL.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the John-Ridout's Elmwood Chapel (800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery.
