We bid farewell to Daqueta S. Shelley of Palm Harbor, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Daqueta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Barnett and Violet Barnett (Davidson); and her siblings, Vernon Barnett, Verdna Barnett, Cleda Hosfelt, Leda Clark and Mona Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip Shelley (Linda) of Joplin, MO, Marcia Boring (Brent) of Erie and Kyla Carney (Chris) of Palm Harbor, FL; and her siblings, Ivan Barnett of Topeka and Esther Johnson of D'Hanis, Texas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the KSDS Assistance Dog Training of Washington, Kansas or to the Susan G. Komen Brest Cancer Foundation and these may be left at or mailed to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home 112 N. 26th, P.O. Box 942, Parsons, KS 67357.
