He is survived by: his nephew Erick Smith; his siblings, Stephen, Martha, Hazel and Lorraine; his wife Betty Ann Brown; his children, Russell (Gladys), Bradford (Mindy) and Regina; his siblings, John (Viola), Alberta Scott (Eugene), LaFrance Johnson (Walter) and Evelyn Kent; and his close friend Marvin R. Kelley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
