He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Novak; his stepchildren, Lori Weiss, Vicki Gosselin, Barbara Hartman, Scott Hartman and Mark Hartman; his grandchildren, Samantha DelGrosso, Angela Costigliola, Steven Costigliola, Jeffrey Gosselin, Philip Weiss, Kurt Weiss, Deena Hartman-Gross, Winnie Hartman-Gross, Daniel Hartman, Andrew Hartman, Thomas Hartman, Stacie Hartman and Sarah Hartman; and his great grandchildren, Jack Costigliola, Blake Gosselin, Ava Gosselin, Gabriel Hartman and Anne Hartman.
