He was predeceased by: his wife Maria C. Hernandez; and his parents, Juan Hernandez and Francisca Hernandez. He is survived by: his children, Alfred Hernandez (Johesy Hernandez), Mario Herns (Elsa Herns) and Bertha Latif (Sam Latif); his siblings, Otilio Hernandez, Ymeldo Hernandez, Juanito Hernandez, Humberto Hernandez and Hortensia Hernandez; his grandchildren, Christine Latif, Alex Lesassier, Priscilla Muñoz, Andy Ruiz, Charles Inglese, Mario Herns, Jr., Marilyn Hernandez and Michelle Hernandez; and his great grandchildren, Josiah, Isaiah, Bruno, Maximo, Alexa and Lael. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
