He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine; his parents, Alexander and Helen; and his son Michael Bauer. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Murphy, Linda Ziegler (Kurt) of Afton, VA, Richard Bauer of Palm Coast, FL, Joanne Osmanski (Joe) of Pelion, SC and Joe Bauer (Marlo); and his brother Alexander Bauer (Louise) of Oceanside, NY. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
