She was predeceased by: her parents, James Adams and Lucy Adams (Whatley); her son Frederick Douglas Butler; and her siblings, James Adams, Lorenzo Adams, Gloria Jean Kennedy and Sharon Lawson.

She is survived by: her children, Weeda Anderson, Cassandra Billups, Donald Butler (Sophia) and Angelice Brown; her grandchildren, Theodore Anderson, Eboney Emery, Donovan Blocker, Tevin Anderson, Asia Brown, Isaiah Brown and Sydney Brown; her children, Nature Cannon, Amanda Cannon and Natasha Cannon; and her great grandchildren, Maci Reign, Jeremiah Javon and Mariah Rose Anderson. She is also survived by extended family members and wonderful friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home (511 Old Kings Rd S, Flagler Beach, FL 32136). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
