He was predeceased by: his parents, Dirk Gerve and Johanna Elisabeth van Gerve; and his siblings, Nita Deckers and Hans van Gerve. He is survived by: his wife Johanna van Gerve (Joki) of Palm Coast, FL; his daughters, Colette van Gerve, Cuijk and Jacqueline Umana; and his grandsons, Cody Asbroek, Calvin Asbroek and Cuijk.
