He was predeceased by: his brothers, Venancio B. Martins and Jose Francisco B. Martins. He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Ottermann (Marcus) and Diana Martins; his wife Maria Idalia; his grandchildren, Armani and Avianna Cruz; and his siblings, Manuel Martins, Fernando Veloso (Sylvaine) and Maria Helena Alves (Manuel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Martins family kindly requests donations be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
