He was predeceased by: his parents, Corrine Borre Caldwell and Barney O Spurlock; and his wife Janet D Spurlock. He is survived by: his son Barney P Spurlock (Frances); his grandchildren, Donny, Sam and Paige of St. Petersburg, FL; his son Christopher A. Spurlock (Terry); his grandchildren, Malcolm and Cotter of Cranford, NJ; his son David M. Spurlock (Rana); and his grandchildren, Vanessa, Alejandro and Luis of St. Augustine, FL..
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Marine Corp League, Detachment #876 scholarship fund, the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer.
