He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Irma Estrella Rivera; his parents, Nephtali Rivera and Natividad Rivera; his children, Vivian Rivera (Daniel McGlathery) of Newton, Mass., Maria Rivera of Somerville, Mass. and Fernando Rivera (Kristina); his grandchildren, McKenzie, Damien and Dominic of Daytona Beach, FL.; his sister Marta Guzman of Fort Lauderdale, FL.; and his nieces and nephews, Antonio, Wilfredo Guzman, Lydia Milagros Rivera of Puerto Rico, Angela Rivera of Brooklyn, N. Y. and Teresa Rivera of Brooklyn, N. Y..
