He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Vernon and Golda Vernon (Braden). He is survived by: his wife Ann Bulman Vernon; his daughters, Janie Miller (Ronnie), Karla Smith (David), Leanne Witt (Bailey) and Julie Banasiak (Rob); his grandchildren, Ryan Miller (Tina), Charlotte, Ben Smith, Brady, Brooke Banasiak, Anna and Becca Witt; his great grandchild Levi Miller; and his sister Paula Dusel (Chuck). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society or to the Barth Syndrome Foundation.
