Mary T. Batey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary T. Batey of Palm City, Florida, born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Chapman, Sr. and Mary Magdalene Murphy Chapman; and her husband Larry A. Batey. She is survived by: her son Andrew S. Batey of Palm City, FL; her siblings, Robert C. Chapman, Jr. of Negley, OH and Elizabeth Chapman Figley of Largo, FL; her grandson Kayden J. Batey of Palm City, FL; and her brother-in-law Charles A. Batey of Stuart, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Forest Hills Palm City Chapel (2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL 34990). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Save the Children or the Humane Society of the United States in her memory would be appreciated.
