She was predeceased by: her daughter Kathryn Emerson Dunbar (late Lloyd Emerson Mitchell) of Washington, D. C.. She is survived by: her children, Mary Claire McCormick of Virginia, Susan Randall Mitchell of North Carolina, Jamie Mitzo of Florida and Lloyd Emerson Mitchell of Florida. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and her 17 great-grandchildren.
