He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Gilbert and Earl Gilbert; his brother Donnie Gilbert; and his brother-in-law Homer Tyson. He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Kathryn Gorman (Tyler) and Adam Gilbert (Kara); his grandchildren, James Douglas Gorman, Ana Gilbert, Ziggy Gilbert and Harley Gilbert; his siblings, Kenny Gilbert (Wanda), Fran Tyson and Johnnie Gilbert (Wanda); his sister-in-law Brenda Gilbert; his parents-in-law, Vince and Marie Damico; and his brother-in-law Mark (Carol Damico).
