He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Poorman and Grayce Poorman; his wife Mabel Poorman; his son Gregory Scott Poorman; and his brothers, Lynn and John Poorman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Arlene Emrick (Ron) of Fort Wayne, IN and Kathryn Picano. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the D. O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home (1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
