He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judith (Poorvu); his parents, Joseph H. Schlager and Beatrice Schlager (Todrin); his siblings, Arnold Schlager of Newton, Mass. and Judith Busny (Schlager); his children, Robert Schlager (Amy), Eric Schlager (Beth) and Joan Weinsten (Mark); and his grandchildren, Scott, Spencer Schlager, Andrew (Aaron Su), Katie, Allie, Charlie Schlager, Melanie, Nicole and Alexandra Weinsten.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Temple Israel (477 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA 02215).
