Charisse Mayer wrote a sympathy message

“My deep sympathy and condolences to Helene, to Larry’s children and family and to all those who held Larry dear. Larry was a kind and funny member of the extended Pilavin ( Robinson) family when I married and moved to providence in 1980. A favorite memory is of Larry trying to instruct me in the use of the various implements necessary to the enjoyment of a boiled lobster, lessons he taught me at large family dinners at Ledgemont Country Club. May his memory be a blessing. Charisse”
