He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Feirstein; his close friend Phyliss Glassman; his parents, Anna Feirstein and Morris Feirstein of Newark; and his brother Bernard Farrell.

He is survived by: his children, Andrea Feirstein (Frank Schiff) and Bruce Feirstein (Madeline Warren); his grandchildren, Samantha, Corey Schiff, Thomas and Elizabeth Feirstein; and his sister Rosalind Davidson of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces, a nephew, and cousins, along with their children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in his honor to the Mandel Jewish Community Center of the Palm Beaches.
