He is survived by: his wife Ingbrithe; his children, Dean, Kirk and Gina; and his grandson James.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery (6501 FL-7, Lake Worth, FL 33449).
