He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Bennett and Edith Bennett Sr. (Roulston); his wife Clare Smith-Bennett; and his siblings, Homer Bennett Jr., Donald, David Bennett and Arline Hansen.
He is survived by: his sister Joan Murphy; and his nieces and nephews, Jay, Kevin, Keith, Kirk, Donnie, Alan Bennett, Tracy Kram, Donna Ryan, Sandra DiBella, Sharon Morris and Judith Re.
A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the White Oaks Cemetery (1076 Main St N, Southbury, CT 06488).
