He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Dawson and Kathleen Dawson (Fisher); his daughter Patricia Eileen; his brother Allen; his sister-in-law Thelma Dawson (Tice); his nephew Stephen Allen "Bubs" Dawson; his uncle Bertram; and his aunt Ruby Dawson (Wickline).
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Dawson (Sullivan); his sons, Timothy Dawson (Shelly) of West Chester, OH and Robert Dawson (Kerrie) of Westerville, OH; and his grandchildren, Robert Dawson, Kathleen Dawson, Beatrice Dawson and Nora Dawson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
