With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin L. Truex Sr. in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, who passed away on January 17, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martin L. Truex Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Irvin and Roberta L. Truex; and his brother Leroy "Barney" Truex. He is survived by: his children, Marsha McVey (Levi) of Mayetta, NJ, Martin Truex Jr. of Mayetta, NJ and Ryan Truex (Leah Schwandt) of Mayetta, NJ; his siblings, Curtis Truex (Debbie) of Mayetta, NJ, Robin Meyers (Jim) of Mayetta, NJ and Kyle (David Michel); his sister-in-law Delores Truex (Long) of Mayetta, NJ; and his grandchildren, Cash and Londyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wood Funeral Home (134 E Main St, Tuckerton, NJ 08087).
