We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2024, at the age of 85, Lilia Gomez Gay of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lilia Gomez Gay to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopoldo Gomez and Rosalina Gomez (Grepo); her husband Alfonso Young "Al" Gay Sr.; and her brothers, Augusto and Donato Gomez.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. Alfonso Gay Jr. (Suzanne) of Aiken, Shirley Schmitter of Westerville, Catherine Gay of Lancaster and Christine Shaw (Matt) of Rockbridge, Ohio; her grandchildren, Nicole Schmitter, Emily Schmitter (Dan Kitko), Alex, Miranda Gay, Alaina Schwieterman (Luke), Isaac Shaw (Hannah), Clare, Max, Ben and Sophie Shaw; her great grandchildren, Madison and Kyler Hiltner; her sister Christina Moscardon (Reynoldo) of California; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria and Lourdes Gomez.
