He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Tonya Love Cheatham (Lachlan) and Joseph B. Love III (Heather); his grandchildren, Joseph B. Love IV and Sasha Elizabeth Love; his sister Donna Love Echols (Mike); his nephew Michael Steven Echols Jr.; his brother-in-law Robert Steven Crane (Karen); his niece Jennifer Crane Huff (Christopher); and his sister-in-law Barbara Crane Oliver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Nicklaus Children's Hospital, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Loxahatchee, Florida.
