James Bernard Tofias Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bernard Tofias of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, born in Brookline, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tofias and Anna Tofias (Seidel); and his siblings, Allan Tofias and Marian Nadel. He is survived by: his significant other Joan Tofias (Kaplan); his children, Felisa Honeyman (James) and Michael Tofias (Mindy); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Madeline and Emma Tofias. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

After retiring from a long career in real estate investment and management, he enjoyed golf, bridge, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, cheering on every Boston sports team, building 4000-piece LEGO models during the pandemic, and, of course, a good steak.
