He is survived by: his daughter Rene Sheila Root; his wife Mary Lou Root (Bernardi); his son Randy Thomas Root (Sherry Jagoo); his siblings, Mary Jane Root (David Sylvain) of Lincolnville, Francis Root (Karen Downey) of Bethany, Robert Root (Donna) of Juno Beach and David Root (Jody) of Lewiston, Idaho.; his grandchild Rene Sheila Root; and his nieces and nephews, Jackie Conlin, Tina Wall, Andy Root, Peter Root, Robin Taddonio, Elizabeth Root, Michelle Root, Michael Doolen, Mark Doolen, Kellie Doolen, Debbie Heagy, Cindi Lemm, Mathew Justine and Brian Justine. He is also survived by grand nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
