It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn M. Kocot of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Evangelista and Katherine Evangelista; her daughter Dawn Kocot; her nephew Gregory Evangelista; and her siblings, Raymond Evangelista, John Evangelista, Mary Doyle and Lena Kristensen.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Kocot; her daughter Elizabeth Ruyack; her son-in-law Richard Ruyack; and her grandchildren, Raymond, Christopher and Rebecca. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home (754 US-1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Clare Catholic Church (821 Prosperity Farms Rd, North Palm Beach, FL 33408).
