It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Elaine Filkins in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Heller and Marion Heller; her husband Bailey R. Filkins "Dick"; her brother Jack Heller; and her in-laws, Bailey and Leila Filkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Grace Ann Yeates (Bruce), Tracy Cooper (Kurt) and Micki Cox (Sean); and her grandchildren, Brittany Hilliard (Austin), Michael Cooper (Anna), Ross Cooper (Lauren), Scott Cooper (Adrienne), Melanie Cooper, Brooke Peebles (Ryan), Ashlyn Russo, Macey Russo, Madelyn Cox and Emily Cox.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of her late husband.
