He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Brainard; his siblings, Stan Brainard and Shirley Crislip (Warren); his children, Eugene Brainard and Barbara Jerome (Paul); his grandsons, Mathew, Daniel, Steven and Jason; and his great grandchildren, Jea, Kai, Isaiah and Andrew. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
