He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ann Rupe. He is survived by: his daughters, AnnMarie Yrigoyen and Kelly Ann Carden; his son-in-law Alvaro Felipe Yrigoyen; his granddaughter Sarah Ann Storey; his great grandchild Dayton Samuel Clary; his grandson-in-law Dalton Logan Clary; and his siblings, Patricia Jolley (William Jolley), Rebecca Mattox (Mark Mattox) and Roy R. Rupe (Patricia Rupe).
