She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dolton Downes and Doris Shorey; her children, Carlton (Callie), Anderson (Andy), Cleston (Puggie), June Renita, Deborah Ann (Debbie), Cheri Pamela, Alicia Joann and Oral Orlando (Orie); her grandchildren, Jamel, Alesia, Joy, Devon, Eva, Alyssa, Kristofer, Stephanie, Ashley, Rashaun, Leighlan and Lanze; her great grandchildren, Majel, Nadia, Kylie, Khazyni, Korbin, Kylo, Oulla, Noriah and Kaizer; and her great great grandchild Khalid. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great, great-grandchild.

In practicing what she exemplified, Ma regularly made charitable donations to organizations such as Salvation Army.
