We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, at the age of 94, Merwyn Lee Ness in Palm Bay, Florida, born in Boswell, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Merwyn Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Merwyn Lee farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice May Hartshorne and Lester Lloyd Sprowls; her husband Jay Palmer Ness; and her sisters, Romayne Makyo and Lavonne Lawther.
She is survived by: her daughters, Heidi (Charles Walsh) and Kimberly (Randolph Browne, IV); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Walsh and Randy Browne; her niece Charlotte Lawther; and her great grandchild Pedro Browne.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Myakka Elephant Ranch, a nonprofit organization, in Sarasota, Florida as Merwyn had a deep passion for elephants.
