She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell DeAngelus and Beatrice DeAngelus. She is survived by: her husband James Kormondy; her children, Lecia Escobar (Jonathan), Nadine Smotherman and Austin Kormondy; her grandchildren, Amelia, Tyson, Iley, Landon and Jaxon; and her siblings, Patsy Joinnides and Russell DeAngelus.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home (1010 Palmetto Ave, Melbourne, FL 32901).

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to H.A.L.O. Rescue Shelter.

MaryBeth and I lost touch over the years, but i have many fond memories of fun times with her in Jr. High School in Schenectady. She was a true free spirit, always ready for a good laugh, a bright spot in everybody's day. She always rooted for the underdog, and I was touched by her compassion and understanding.
