“Ricky was one of the dearest friends we've ever had. He had a true heart, and was a beautiful soul. We didn't live too far away from each other, and he used to stop by very often, and b cause he is was well educated, we would talk about everything under the sun! My husband and I both loved him tremendously. We were absolutely shocked to find out he had passed, since we had just seen him two days prior, and no one knew how he died. Maybe someday we'll find out. Rest in peace, Ricky.”

“Uncle Ricky was a mainstay in the lives and doings of the members of the extended LEIGH family in Brooklyn NY. Birthdays, funerals, weddings. We traveled with him (Aruba, where we adopted a wild iguana, “Iggy”) mourned with him, and again and again, celebrated with him. The decades have rolled away leaving us with lots of photos to remind us how rich our lives were. Our sister, Vinnette, introduced him to us - all the way from England. Rest in peace Uncle Ricky”
