He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank T. Hamlin and Phoebe L. Hamlin; and his siblings, Helen Langford, Joice Hamlin and Tom Hamlin.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Kimberly Darden (Michael), Karen Baguisa (Tony) and Kevin Hamlin (Brandi); his grandchildren, Michael Darden (Ashley), Blake Hamlin, Jesse Baguisa, Charlotte Hamlin and Kevin Hamlin; his great grandchildren, Ciel and Royal; and his siblings, Bill, Jane and George. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
