He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Frazier and Minnie Lee Atwell; and his brother Alex Frazier Atwell. He is survived by: his wife Edith Atwell; his children, David, Clinton Atwell (Karen), Cindy Noe and Monte Atwell; his grandchildren, Robert Atwell, Joshua Penn, Adrianne Penn, Scott Atwell, Heather Noe and Dounia Bezzari; and his sisters, Glenda Ellen Fisher and Ruby Eloise Simmons. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
