George Anastos Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Anastos of Palm Bay, Florida, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest D. Anastos and Clara Paris Anastos; his brothers, James E. Anastos and John Charles Anastos; and his in-laws, Thomas Joseph Dunne and Elizabeth Dunne (Betty).
He is survived by: his wife Diana Anastos; his daughter Robin Phemister (Marc); his grandsons, Darren Turilli (Jena) of Saugus, MA and Abdul Sarki (Erin) of Palm Bay, FL; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Turilli, Araoluwa (Ara) and Adeola Sarki (Adi); his sister Jodi Anastos of Gloucester, MA; and his in-laws, Jim Hodgins of Melbourne, FL, Michael, June Dunne of Melbourne, FL and Barbara Dunne of Ray City, GA. He is also survived by many cousins, niees, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The military honors will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
