She is survived by: her daughter Sonia Sherrod (Johnny) of Conetoe, NC; her goddaughter Hazel McIntyre of Palm Bay; her grandchildren, Samantha McCoy (Darrell) of Clayton, NC, Cleveland "C. J." Windross Jr. (Aisha) of Pinetops, NC, Jonathan Windross (Diketa) of Winterville, NC and Detran Sherrod (Megan) of Sanford, FL.; her great grandchildren, Carolyn Windross, Deion McIntyre (Jamal), Madison McCoy of Clayton, NC, Dorian, Darren, Dasiah Windross of Pinetops, NC, Aleah Windross of Winterville, NC, Carter and Camden Sherrod of Sanford, FL; and her caregiver Iris Hall.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 177 Crawford St, Bethel, NC 27812.
